Garden with artificial grass, central path and new fencing

A full garden makeover usually involves several trades. We bring them together under one team, so you deal with one person from the first visit to the final walk-round, and every part of the garden is planned to work together.

We are happy to build to your own design or help you plan one. Many clients come to us wanting a low-maintenance garden that still looks good all year — clean paving, artificial grass, smart fencing and simple, structured planting.

Garden Landscaping: common questions

When is the best time to lay a new lawn?

Spring (March–May) and early autumn (September–October) are the best times to lay turf, because the soil is warm and there is enough rain to help it root. Turf can be laid at most times of year with proper watering.

Should I choose real turf or artificial grass?

Choose real turf if you want a natural lawn and do not mind mowing and feeding it. Choose artificial grass if you want a green, mud-free garden all year with almost no maintenance — it is popular with families and pet owners.

Can you fix a waterlogged garden?

Yes. Poor drainage is one of the most common problems we solve. Depending on the cause, we install French drains, soakaways, channel drains or permeable paving to move water away from the lawn and the house.

Do you build retaining walls and raised beds?

Yes. We build retaining walls and raised beds from block, brick, natural stone and timber sleepers, to level sloping gardens and create defined planting areas.

What fencing do you install?

We install close-board, lap panel, slatted, picket, trellis and composite fencing. We will recommend the right style for privacy, security and the look of your garden.

Can you design a low-maintenance garden?

Yes. A low-maintenance garden typically combines porcelain paving, artificial grass, gravel or resin areas, composite decking and evergreen planting, so it looks good with very little upkeep.
